The rain provided a wet reminder that we live in Vancouver, but it has relented as the 2012 Summer Institute participants headed outside into the Orchard Garden. And of course the amazing lineup of workshops and people presenting and attending this year’s institute is also a reminder of that we live in Vancouver…It’s going to be a great conference!

From “Watering and Irrigation,” to “Cooking up Curriculum and Eating the (PL)Outcomes” to “The Gonder’s Neck”(Read on!), this year’s institute is wide in breadth, and deep in insight, and feature some of the leading voices in school food systems, food preparation, and food education.
