Roots & Research in Urban School Gardens - Veronica Gaylie

Think & Eat Green @ School team partner Veronica Gaylie will be on hand this weekend at the AERA Conference on April 15, 3:00 PM at the Peter Lang Booth #201-207, Exhibit Hall A, at the Vancouver Convention Center.

Veronica’s is a poet and educator from Vancouver. Currently serving as an associate professor in Education at The University of British Columbia Okanagan, she is the founder of “The Learning Garden” on campus. Her poetry has appeared in Geist, Grain, Room, Poetry Review and elsewhere. Veronica’s research on poetry in inner city schools has won two Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Canada (SSHRC) grants.
