VIDEO: 2011 TEG@School Gladstone Secondary Win $50 000 Prize for Locally Grown Food Video

2011 Think & Eat Green School Gladstone Secondary recently won $50 000 for their video on locally grown produce entitled “Why Not Gladstone Secondary’s Apples?”. This whiteboard video won in a contest created by the Aviva Community Fund, and will go towards building a 30 person greenhouse to be used in conjunction with the school’s science and foods programs, as well as expanding the school’s sustainable cafeteria program.

Gladstone Secondary was awarded a 2011 Think & Eat Green @ School Grant which went towards expanding their garden, building a garden shed and cultivating a composting program. Bravo, Gladstone Secondary!
